Faculty Profile
The Faculty of Biotechnology was established as an enpression of concerns from several churches that supported the Duta Wacana Christian Higher Education Foundation to produce graduates who are able to utulize the potensial of natural resources and biotechnology in the attempt at overcoming environmental, industrial and healt problem for creating a prosperous community.

Vision
Being an excellent and reliable Faculty of Biotechnology in producing independent profesional generation for the sake of a pluralistic society's welfare based on love
Mision
Administering research-based teaching and learning activities to create graduates who have:
1. Competence in the fields of Environmental Biotechnology,Industrial
Biotechnology, and Medical Biotechnology
2. Entrepreneurial Spirit.
3. Awareness and sense of responsibility for the environmental sustainability
4. Ability to adapt to the global dynamic changes
Graduate Profile and Competences
The graduates of the Faculty of Biotechnology are expected to possess the following profiles and competences :
1. Manager (Quality Assurance and Field Manager )
- Able to apply and manage the production process of biological resources-based biotechnology products
- Able to manage environmental program and bioenergy projects
- Able to manage medical laboratories and environmental sanitation programs
- Able to manage the marketing of industrial and medical product and laboratory equipments
2. Edutainer
Able to provide a creative, innovative and inspiring biotechnology education
3. Entrepreneur
Able to create and respond to business opportunities based on natural resources to produce biotechnology products in the fields of environment, industies and healt
4. Consultant
- Able to analyze and make recomendations on integrated technical solution of environmental problem
