Considering the rapid spread of COVID-19 and following the recent policies from the government as well as the Rector of UKDW, the Head of the Office of Student, Alumni Affairs, and Career Development of UKDW has issued Circular Letter No. 13/C.12/BKA/2020 urging all UKDW students to keep staying in Yogyakarta, refrain from traveling to other cities/region or going back to their hometown for the time being.
Winta Adhitia Guspara, S.T., M.Sn. as the Head of the Office of Student, Alumni Affairs, and Career Development explained if a student has an emergency business to go, he/she must submit a letter of permission to the Dean of Student Affairs, which can be sent through email or WhatsApp.
Students are also required to fill the self-report form at http://bit.ly/UKDW_INFODATAKESEHATAN.
“Students who went back to their hometown or traveling for urgent matters, are obliged to self-quarantine for 14 days upon their arrival to the destinations and monitoring any symptoms. If they are experiencing symptoms such as fever > 38 degrees, runny nose, coughing, shortness of breath, they need to seek medical care,” Winta said. The 14-day-self-quarantine is also required after they coming back to Yogyakarta.
“We also urge students to practice social distancing and stay at home,” Winta added.
Students are also expected to keep updated and maintain communication. UKDW call center for health consultation is also available at 082241736182 or 082137287313.
